Inspiration I’m Looking at for Our Master Bathroom Remodel

We knew that we wanted to renovate the master bathroom 3 years ago when we bought this house. We needed to move the shower to make room to turn our closet laundry space into an actual laundry room. Our plan was to rip out the corner tub and turn it into a large shower.

We started gutting the room on Oct 19, 2022. But I still hadn’t finished planning finishes for this space. Here is some inspiration I’m looking at as I’m trying to design this space.

I like the idea of this checkerboard marble tile and fun wallpaper. Also loving the wooden bench and brass handles to add warmth to the space.

There has been lots of discussion at our house about whether we should have a built-in bench or a freestanding shower bench. We are liking the idea of a wooden freestanding bench so that it can be moved around the shower. It also gives us the opportunity to use a glass wall instead of a solid wall. This will make the room feel larger.

I love these ceramic square shower tiles. They add so much texture to the space.

Those brass mirrors with the rounded corners are adding so much warmth and softness to the space. I love the green cabinets.

We love the idea of putting the handle on the opposite side of the shower head because nobody likes getting doused in freezing cold water before it’s had time to warm up.

We love how this little wicker garbage, brass picture frames, and brown towel adds warmth to the space.
